"Wasting your life" is a bit harsh, but then again I always have my mom and dad tell me that I'm wasting my time when it comes to drawing.

Doesn't stop me though since I doodle like constantly. But man. I really don't know what to say since your mom sounds like she has a pretty strong mindset on her opinion, but I hope that you get your motivation back somehow.

She doesn't say it like that but says something in a way that makes me feel bad and puts me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. :<

I still doodle constantly though - mostly it's stuff for the story I'm working on. But the actual drawings/inking/coloring I haven't done in a few weeks now. My dad doesn't bother me much with my art however so I still show him some examples. I can't show my aunt anything now because she's siding with my mom (she used to see them before)

And thanks. I hope so too. When I don't draw what I want to, the Void...OF EVIL appears....and I draw stuff that I don't want to post up anyway .__.

My Gran likes my art. I'm sad your Mom doesn't. But mine(she died when I was 7) would like them since she drew a little as well.

Sorry to hear that ;~;

I probably just have to show her that my art does amount to something instead of the time-wasting she sees. She's seen my drawing since I was five or so...so that's almost 20 years of drawing now... o.o
